This Privacy Policy explains how Flonix collects, uses, stores, and protects information when businesses use our platform to build Instagram automations, manage connected accounts, and respond to inbound engagement.

Who we are

Flonix is a web platform that helps businesses automate Instagram interactions such as direct messages, story replies, live comment triggers, post comment workflows, and follow-up delivery flows.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Flonix, we may collect:

  • account details such as your name, email address, and profile image when you sign in;
  • Instagram business account information you choose to connect, such as account ID, username, access tokens, and selected media needed to configure automations;
  • automation setup data, including triggers, keywords, message copy, button URLs, follow-gate settings, and AI configuration choices;
  • webhook events and conversation content needed to process inbound Instagram comments, DMs, story replies, and related automation flows;
  • operational data such as logs, timestamps, and basic usage records needed to secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use information we collect to:

  • create and secure your Flonix account;
  • connect and maintain your Instagram business integration with Meta;
  • fetch the posts and account details needed to configure comment and message automations;
  • process user-initiated Instagram interactions and send automated replies you configure;
  • generate structured AI-assisted replies when you enable Flonix AI features;
  • monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and resolve support issues;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Meta and Instagram data

When you connect an Instagram professional account, Flonix processes Meta platform data only for the functionality you enable inside the product. This includes retrieving basic account details, loading media for post selection, receiving webhook events for comments and messages, and sending replies from the connected business account.

We do not use connected Instagram data for unrelated advertising or resale. We only process that data to provide the automation features requested by the business using Flonix.

AI-assisted replies

If you enable AI-based automation features, conversation context, trigger details, and the brand guidance you configure may be processed to generate a reply suggestion or outbound automation response. These features are used to help the connected business respond more accurately and consistently across Instagram conversations.

How information is shared

We share information only as needed to operate Flonix, including:

  • with Meta, when required to power the Instagram integration;
  • with infrastructure and storage providers that host or process data on our behalf;
  • with service providers used to support core functionality, security, or support operations;
  • when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; or
  • in connection with a business transfer, merger, or asset sale, if permitted by law.

We do not sell personal information collected through the platform.

Data storage and retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Flonix, maintain connected automations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you disconnect your Instagram account or request deletion, we will remove or anonymize data we no longer need, subject to legitimate retention requirements such as security logs, fraud prevention, backup cycles, or legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data processed through Flonix. No internet service is completely secure, but we work to limit access and protect connected account data against unauthorized use, disclosure, or loss.

Your choices and rights

You can request to:

  • access, update, or correct account information;
  • disconnect your Instagram integration;
  • delete your Flonix account data;
  • request deletion of Meta-connected data we store for you.

Children

Flonix is intended for businesses and users who are legally able to use business software and Meta platform features. It is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
